By following these simple care instructions, you can enjoy the benefits of truly clean, organic sleep every night.
- Remove & Wash the Cover — Carefully unzip and remove the organic cotton cover. Machine wash the cover in cold water on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the cover's organic fibers.
- Dry the Cover Gently — Since organic cotton is sensitive to high heat, it’s best to air dry the cotton cover to prevent any shrinking. You can lay it flat or use the dryer on an air fluff or low/no-heat setting. Make sure the cover is completely dry before putting it back on your pillow to avoid any moisture build-up.
- Spot Clean the Inner Pillow — The latex core itself should not be machine-washed or submerged in water. If you need to clean the inner pillow or its thin liner, use a damp cloth to spot clean any soiled areas. Gently dab (don’t soak), and then allow the pillow to air out until fully dry. This will freshen the pillow without harming the natural latex.
Protect & Refresh — Want to shield your pillow from sweat or spills? Consider using a pillow protector or sliding an additional case over the cotton cover (this is especially useful for kids). Occasionally, you can air out the pillow by placing it in a well-ventilated area on a dry, sunny day. Just be sure to avoid prolonged direct sunlight on the latex.
