The Grateful Bed JR is the perfect organic mattress for kids from toddlers to early teens. Made in Essentia's GOLS and GOTS certified organic factory and wrapped in organic cotton the Grateful Bed Jr is the perfect addition to your child’s room to ensure a clean air environment.
Like all awesome Essentia products, the Grateful Bed Jr is allergy-friendly as we don’t use any wool or cotton batting. Not to mention Essentia has been tested by Dr. Robert G. Hamilton of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine to show that Essentia adult and kid mattresses are impervious to dust mites and will not cause latex allergies. Most allergy sufferers can rest easy knowing they won’t be surrounded by allergens that may cause reactions.
The big question is, how does it feel… for most kids under 12, the Grateful Bed Jr will start as a solid medium feel. With more weight, your child will experience a touch more softness, perfect for growing kids! It’s important to note that the Grateful Bed Jr is a great option for up to 110 lbs, after which it’s time to move up to our standard line of mattresses.
