The Ryder In-Home Delivery upgrade is $299 per mattress and foundation, and the Ryder team will call you to schedule a delivery day and timeframe for your setup. This is why we offer you a 120-Night Sleep Trial on all Essentia mattresses. This means that from the day you receive the mattress you have 120 nights to sleep on your mattress and get a great feel for it. In the rare event you choose to return or exchange the mattress, we do arrange to have everything picked up and brought back to us for donation or recycling. Unlike other companies who have you arrange and pay for shipping, the Venti does have a 20% fee on the retail price associated with a return or exchange which is simply deducted from your refund.
The Align Adjustable is not included in the 120-Night Sleep Trial and is final sale.
Warranty Information
We are proud to make our own patented organic latex foams in our GOLS and GOTS certified organic factory, and after rigorous testing we are confident your Essentia mattress will stand the test of time.
Your mattress comes with a 20 year limited warranty. We warranty the first 10 years of your mattress in full! This means should there be any issues that fall under the terms of the warranty, you will get a new mattress and we cover the full replacement value. We also offer free pickup and delivery of your new mattress. After the first 10 years, you have an additional 10 years of prorated warranty coverage.
The Align Adjustable is covered by Rize Homes Adjustable Base 2 Year Limited Warranty. Full details of the Rize Home warranty can be read here.

Without the additional of toxic chemicals or other layers of fiber batting, the surface of the Venti will not trap heat at the mattress surface while sleeping. No Toxic Flame Retardants
Picking a non-toxic flame retardant that did not affect the performance of our mattresses was of utmost importance. This is why we use Kevlar fabric. While it is the most expensive flame retardant option, it allows us to use a non-toxic fabric that does not go against our Beyond Organic values.
Essentia is proud to have an allergy friendly and vegan mattress free of wool or wool padding.
Think of the kevlar fabric much like a sock that we place the mattress in and then sew up on the open end, this is a fabric layer you will find under the GOTS-certified organic cotton cover. There are no toxic flame retardants sprayed or used in our GOLS and GOTS certified organic factory.
How do Mattresses Ship?
As the leaders in environmental manufacturing, this means that we also had to prioritize a way to ship our dense mattresses to reduce our carbon footprint. In order to do this, we have developed a specially fitted roll-pack machine to compress and roll our mattresses into boxes that take up 75% less space on the delivery truck.
All mattresses are compressed and rolled, shipped in a tall, skinny box. In fact, you may confuse it for a carpet if not for the weight. We offer FedEx delivery to your door on every order to the contiguous United States.

Certifications Explained
Essentia is a GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) 3.0 certified facility CU 847578, able to manufacture organic finished goods. Essentia’s supply chain has demonstrated that there are procedures in place to properly track and manage organic materials up to the point where they are shipped to the client. Essentia has demonstrated it has a system in place that will allow traceability and proper storage of all its GOLS components at all stages of production.
Each Essentia mattress and pillow is also GOLS certified and made with≥ 95% certified organic latex, the highest possible standard for organic latex, and is the main component of our patented Beyond Latex organic foam formulas.
Certification for organic fibers, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a leading textile processing standard. GOTS includes ecological and social criteria with independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. Essentia holds a GOTS 4.0 factory certification, ensuring that the entire supply chain has demonstrated proper practices to track and manage organic materials. All organic cotton used is also GOTS certified.
Care for Your Mattress
- Your Venti mattress is designed to have 2 sleeping sides. A soft side, and a firm side. You can flip between the sides as needed.
- Should you choose to do so, you can rotate your mattress once a year but this is not a required step.
-We do not recommend the use of a waterproof cover with our mattresses unless the situation calls for it such as a small child learning to potty train, worries about an animal having an accident, or any such situation that may result in the bed being soiled.
- In the event there is a small accident or spill on your mattress don’t fret! Your first step will be to absorb as much of the excess liquid as possible with a dry cloth. If you feel the need for surface cleaning we do not recommend the use of any chemical cleaners. You can choose to use essential oils in water such as tea tree and lavender. Allow the surface to fully air dry before putting the covers back on.
- The GOTS certified organic cotton cover is machine washable. As organic cotton can be affected by heat please only wash in cold water using a mild eco-friendly detergent. Allow to air dry.
- Do not use bleach or other chemical cleaners on your mattress.
- You should be using your mattress on a flat, rigid, breathable surface. The mattress should not be used on the floor.
Labels on Your Mattress
When you receive your mattress, there will be a few labels affixed to it. The first you will notice is the tag or flag on the corner of the foot of the mattress that will show your model name.
The Venti corner tag also features arrows to indicate which side is firm and which is soft.
At the head of the mattress, where you will also find the head of the zipper, will be the law labels, GOTS certified organic label and the Beyond Organic label. Here at Essentia, we do not use any synthetic foams or polyurethane foams. There are no chemical adhesives used to construct our mattresses, we do use a solvent-free, GreenGuard Gold certified, water-based adhesive where needed. For mattresses shipped to the United States, you will see noted the Kevlar fabric non-toxic fire barrier. We do not use any chemical flame retardant or spray any chemicals in our factory.
